    And Mine is a 1974 and I agree that the standard pitch is 1.25 and even for our head bolts M12x1.25 for my 2TC, 2TG, 8RC, 18RC and 18RG. However...

    1. If you have a mechanical fuel pump attached to your block, that would mean that the pump diaphragm is torn or leaking or the seal is weak....
