iDont have a tachometer myself but around 4000-5000 seems to be where a stock 22r peaks... if ur goin for a basic tach i'd jus get something that...
iThink the only disadvantage to having the overload on top is when you load up heavy stuff... but other than that the ride feels pretty good to me...
[IMG] the flat, bottom leaf spring(overload) is on the top...
right now im lowered around 4/4 or so.... all iDid was loosen torions n bj flip in front and for the rear iGot 3" blocks n put my overload on...
