and make sure you use a FLUKE multimeter. Cheap meters are too slow to accurately test glitching sensors... even my $50 craftsman meter is waay...
the fuel pump switch and intake air temp sensor are both built into the VAFM. I would double check that first and make sure it is not glitching...
