Dynalite calipers have the same mounting specs as 4x4 toyota calipers if I remember right... What size rotor is this mount for?
First why did you pull the valve springs anywhere near the engine? Second if the keeper went down the oil tube it won't do any damage since there...
So I got the truck back. Again... I've made great money buying and selling this truck. Last go around I got $1300 for it. I just bought...
Nope I haven't even ordered the parts yet. Right now I'm just driving the tires off the truck going back and forth to work.
How would adding an additional coil spring to a leaf pack make it ride any better than a brick?
They do lower the suspension. If your torsion bars are at the same setting with stock arms and djm lower arms the djm setup will be 3" lower....
I guess I fail to understand how a chevy fanboy has anything to do with it. I'm a yotard, always have been. Meh, whatever.
Firing order, timing, vacuum leaks, make sure your baseline settings for the carb are correct.
I get that. That's why I said to pull the sway bar then pull the shocks. If you have the sway bar off all you have to do is spin the upper nut...
Take the sway bar off then the shocks and the coil will fall out.
Yes I do. I want to say the bearings were slightly wider apart on the later model stuff so the nut would need to machined down to fit the cotter...
When I had 76, and 90 something wheel hubs and calipers sitting on my shop floor years back I took note that the hubs fit on each others intended...
Well first you have to pick it up...
I didn't know that. I've had a 76 and 78 and they were wide enough. I'm assuming the post 75 or so are wider to fit the 20r rather than 18r?
Upgradd with two d's for a double dose of power! An ls400 1UZ is easy to fit in pre 79 trucks since the steering is behind the wheel centerline....
If I didn't hold back odds are good I'd risk being banned at least once a week.
Dump beds on mini trucks are dumb. Dancing beds on mini trucks are dumber. That giant "under construction check back later" is annoying.
Those ball joint spacers you keep linking to are to lift a 4x4 not lower a 2x4.
Summitracing.com carries 3" djm lower arms for right around $200
How is bumpsteer affected differently from flipped ball joints vs drop lower arms?
