They didn't straight bolt in, you would need to fab up some brackets, or just roll around barely bolted to the floor like I did. I did eventually end up pulling them and putting the bench back in though. My local mechanic told me he could get me a set of WRX seats for $200, just waiting to get around to cleaning up the cab (new floor pans and carpet).

Anything interesting come out?! Haha and you definitely want a new T housing. Flat matting surface is key to no hose leaks

Yeah new T housing is on the way, also have a new thermostat and sensor to go with it. The engine side of the drain was completely clogged with debris. It was so bad I had to break it up with a pick to get it to drain. Should be good now. I ended up flushing it around 6 or 8 times before it came out sufficiently clear.

I'm on a roll. Kill switch installed on the fuel pump, uses a wireless trigger. Horn fixed (oooga oooga!), new door seals and even got the radio kinda working. Still need to figure out what steering wheel setup to go with. I can't find the Grant "no wheel, no steal" kit, already had one order cancelled due to no stock. Might go with the NRG setup with the locking hub but I'm still trying to figure out what adapter/hub configuration I need.

Getting dangerously close to moving on to the cab which means fixing the floor pans....

I think I saw it at pepbopys or auto zone as well on the shelf, this was pre pandemic. Things might have changed but wont hurt to ask.

I had looked into an NRG quick release a while back, but with the adapter for our steering colums, the quick release mechanism, and all that jazz, it seemed like it would stick out 4 inches farther.

You will be able to use most toyota hubs. I think I used a mrk4 supra one. The nrg are solid hubs and can help keep the stick out short. If you put a quick release you lose all that. They do have a slim version but that only works with a crush hub. Much safer in a wreck when compared to the solid. I went with the crush and a cheap slim quick release that I had used on my sim rig for a year before calling it safe for the truck and buying another one. It sticks out kind of far. Even with my long arms I don't find it bad. Then again I always liked the feel of a close wheel.

Yeah my biggest worry is the steering putting the steering wheel too close.

You do go a little more room in the later model. You can do a flat face wheel as well if you want to gain some more.

I went with the NRG SRK-120H Steering Wheel Short Hub and NRG SRK-200BK Quick Release gen 2.0. I'm also going to pick up the locking cover assuming it all fits nice.

It will be impossible to keep that white clean, I had one on my Cadillac. The white lasted one week. I got rid of the wheel a month later cause I could not clean it good enough to be white again. The oils from my hands got in to the plastic/rubber and stained it could not get it out again.
