This is not my first Toyota and I should have known that there was an access panel on teh other side.....remove 12 screws and WALAHHHHHHH!!!!!
I went to open my tailgate this afternoon and it was a little hard to move, I applied a tad bit more pressure and the latch sounded like it broke....
