My cross member mod known as the Beefed Bridge...redrill new hole, cut out C/M, and weld in the Bridge. I know your truck's a bit different though.

good lookin work again. my truck doesnt have a crossmember like that though, it has one that hangs way too low and mounts the carrier bearing to. im gonna cut off what hangs low, and plate the bottom with flat plate. ive seen that done on here, and done it on a few trucks. works good.

see what i mean. itll be thick plate, since there wont be much of it left. the notch in it for the exhaust needs to go up taller too. i may shim the carrier forward and up a bit. i remember that its pushed forward to the end of the adjustment. longbeds had 2 part drivelines.

    wich one?

these trucks have soooo manny avenues to go through on notching. they are waaaay too easy. best of all, these are thicker frames so even if you are to cut into them they still hold up well. the notch we did for mine (although ridiculous) is holding strong....... :waytogo:

Click my signature and it'll show some stuff. I really do want to get moving on more pre 95 stuff though for sure, as I love the hell outta those trucks, and you guys deserve more options.

Hey man, I need some of these bumpstops for my 88 jdm hilux sr5....
Do they fit front and rear? Can the steel bit be painted black before the
bumpstop goes on so it looks closer to factory or are they premade.
Could you post a set to New Zealand? How much am I looking at for a
full set. Paypal and US$ is fine....
