Hey guys, I'll start by saying I haven't done a lot of searching but I'd like to get some opinions. My buddy has an 86 300zx that got hit in the back end and he is going to sell it to me for cheap. It has a 5 speed transmission. It's a turbo, which I think is what the X means but I'm not really sure. Anyways, it'll be a while until I get this rolling, but I wanted to see what other people think.

 

Research any common repairable problems with that engine and go from there. Those cars are decently quick. Id say do it

 

I think im going to. It'll probably be next year sometime before I get around to it but once I start I'll post up a thread. It may also get bagged. I want to keep it usable but they just look so much better on the ground.
