I've been looking at that one, but I've also thought about doing a shorty and relocating the battery. Just remember, it's your truck...so ultimately, it's your choice.

It's pipe and a filter. I hardly think a $200 intake would outperform a $30 EBay or DIY one. Just maker sure you use a quality filter.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. If the filter sucked just slap a different one on there.

Depending on your smog laws,it may not fly.
In Calif. you can't run a open filter in the engine bay, must pull air from outside it! Which is a truce cold air source! Easily done & better performance!

We dont have any smog laws. I could just opt for a snorkel!

Well, I bid on the intake system. In your guy's experience does it really give you a noticeable HP increase?? I sure hope so cuz mine is anything but fast!

It's not hold on warp speed boost but you get a few horses and a more noticeable sound it's worth the the few bucks there asking for it

And may even increase your mpg's by a mile or two. Anything is better then the restrictive factory setup. If your searching for more "umph" then do a full tune up (oil, plugs, wires, distributor cap & rotor) then look into a header, custom exhaust, head work, cam, valve springs.... And watch the snowball effect take over lol.
