hi, new to the toyota minis (or at least needing to do anything too out of ordinary to them) i have a 93 2wd dlx extended cab pickup (22re) anyway my current situation is that i have transmission fluid in my radiator. im worried its actually been like this for a few months, i know i havent given this truck its due diligence. got a lot of other things going on. i know this may have damaged the tranny and ill get to that as soon as possible. since i need to replace the radiator anyway and i would feel better if i was upgrading while doing it, can anyone direct me to a good manufacturer for these trucks? i usually buy mishimoto for other vehicles, but they dont have one specifically for the pickup. i dont know if the one i currently have is oem, it looks like it had a bit of fab work to install and its full width, 3 core, all metal but corroded to hell if the price is right im thinking about going to an electric fan as well to free up some power for all the hills in my area :/
Radiators, automotive radiators, condenser, oem radiators, truck radiators I've bought many radiators from them and they are a fantastic deal. You can get a HD 3 core replacement no problem it's a direct fit.
thanks for the response, but i think this is confirming that i have an oversize radiator. id like to keep it that way. any ideas?
Any ideas? Yea figure out what radiator you have and get another one. Is it taller than normal, wider or all of the above?
i havent dont actual measurements, but i will in the morning. i think its just wider. there isnt a brand name anywhere. id like to get a non-universal if this was any sort of common size but im starting to think it isnt. :/ also it doesnt look like it was very good quality anyway(hence the leaking transmission cooler)
