May be moving from Jackson Mississippi to Santa Monica, need to know what I will need for a inspection and smog.
Truck currently has valid MS inspection and :- some holes in the silencer box and rear section of tailpipe missing, cat may still be working (302K miles)
Front grille missing front bumper bent, bit of wear at steering idler, oil leaking from timing case to cylinder head (messed up the gasket fitting new timing chain cover. its a 49 state truck 93, front wheel bearings a little loose, engine mounts shot, all lights and brakes are good, starts and runs fine.
Will I need to spend a lot to register it in SoCal?.

you should be fine my brother when he registered his 90 toy his truck passed with the whole emmision completly bypassed an he passed just did a complte tune up an it passed

What are the regulations about cracked windscreens? mines quite cracked - guess I had best get a replacement
