Yeah so I am new to NA builds, and upgrading camshafts etc.

What I need help on is deciding what upgraded camshaft to put in my 20R motor.

I will be rebuilding the carb to like new, putting a spacer on it and have a functional ram air hood scoop, and I already have a full exhaust done aswell.

Wondering what cam (what stage) would be best to get some more power out of this motor...but still keep it daily driveable.

get the RV cam, its just a lil bump in performance, but thats still prolly more then the stock POS carb can handle.

I have serached around on google...
Im wanting personal opinions of people who have ran certain cams.

I have found a few "stage 1" cams that say nothing is needed to run them (no new carb or upgraded valve springs).

Then I have found some that say rocker arms and valve springs are recommended... etc.

most any brand out there has the RV cam, its actually a OEM toyota grind. ment to give more pep to the RV's like a dolphin or chinook. real close to stock but a slightly longer duration iirc.

as far as carbs go, weber's are my only choice.
