So i have a 32/36 dgve and I have had problems with it. I have the mixture screw all the way in and it still runs. Also, it will not idle with the choke butterflys open.

    i am currently running

    F50 for both air plumes

45 main fuel jet, 30 for secondary
    and it has been rebuilt

    And idea's?!?!

why do you have your mixture screw all the way lean?

you need to follow the "lean best idle" procedure. then come back and let us know what your mixture screw and ilde speed settings are.

just starting out with bad settings isnt telling you if there is a problem or not.

Well, the reason i mention that it wont run with the butterflies open is because the weber tuning guide said to make all adjustments with the butterflies open. Thanks for all you help guys i will have to do some adjustments after work today :)

no the guide does not say "make all adjustments with the butterflys open"

it says: (in a nut shell)

    1. verify all stock settings. choke, mixture, idle speed, high idle, floats, ect.

    2. start car, warm up (when warmed up choke butterflys will open, will not run cold with choke open)

    3. follow "lean best idle procedure" on a warm motor

    4. if you are more then 1 turn ish away (mixture) from the stock lean best idle settings, something is wrong. and with that info we can help.

with it leaned all the way out you can:

    burn valves
    burn cats
    melt pistons n rings
    overheat
    ruin the oil
    warp head
    ect.

Thats is what I meant by butterflies (choke) and the engine is warm when i make adjustments, the problem is that the only way i can keep it running is to have the choke partially closed..

Sounds like you're already taken care of but, as a thought, if you can only keep the motor running with the choke partially closed that makes me think you're running too lean. Any popping back through the carb or backfires?
