ya go to www.redlineweber.com, and search google for weber carbs.

it boils down to take you carb apart n clean it, keeping track of all the pieces. then open the kit and replace all that you can (there will be extra parts). then slap it back together.

    i rate it as a 2 beer job for a newb.:D

note: stock carb rebuild rates 4 beers.

make sure you dont bend the float.
its probably a good idea to set it while your in there anyways it being a S/H carb

every carb i have rebuilt comes with an exploded view of the carb, and a few little tech tips regarding adjustment, but no step by step instructions. carbs are pretty basic, just take it apart keeping track of where everything goes. use carb clean with the straw to clean out every passage on it. make sure the jets are clean, and i don't recommend running anything thru them except carb clean. if something is really gummed up i usually spray a puddle of carb clean into a spray paint can lid and soak the parts. then reassemble replacing the old parts with new parts and gaskets from the kit. they are really easy to build once you pull it apart. also i usually run in the mixture screws until tight and keep track of how many turns out they were. then when you go to reset them just screw them out the same amount as they were.
