W50 Trans

    Does a W50 trans bolt up to a 22R?

    Would like to replace the engine in my 1980 Toyota Pickup, but I am planning on running a 22R Block with a 20R Head. Just need to know if my stock W50 Trans will bolt up to a 22R.

    89 auto cross beater
    No problem at all. 20r and 22r have the same bellhousing pattern. I gave a w50 bolted up to an 87 22r in one of my trucks.
