I have a standard cab, regular bed 85 with the 22r and w46 trans. A buddy wants to sell me his 5 speed trans that he thinks is a w52 out of his longbed 79. Do you think it will bolt up? I know the w55 and w56 will but no one has one around here.

 

Don't know if you got this answered yet or not, but a W52 will bolt up.It uses a different bell housing and trans mount than the w55/6/7/8/9, but it is for the 22r motor. I have the bell housing and mount that you'd need, and I'm kinda close (Virginia Beach)
