you dont KNOW what backspacing is? or you dont know what backspacing to get?

it all depends on what you want to do with your truck. do you want to drop it? go low? go really low? what style are you going for? lots of factors like ride hieght, drop amount, wheel size, tire size affect your options. tell us more of what you want.

also, look in the wheels/tires section on this forum. lots of people post pictures of wheels along with the size specs for reference purposes.

I know what backspacing is. im getting 14x8 diamond racing steelies and I don't know what backspacing to get. im running the same size tires as what I got but I was the rims to stick out like 1 inch further then stock.

a -0 offset is usually a pretty good starting point. pretty aggressive fitment usually fits but as i said, depends on drop, and tire choice. i think a stock wheel is 14x5.5 or 6 wide, and sits at a +30 offset

    ah! ok...

yea.. ok. well, like i said, a 0- offset wheel in a 14x8 will be good, should do fine with a 185/60 series tire.

factory wheels are 14x6 in 89-95.

    I think 84-88 are 14x5.

If you looking for some welds and wanting to go 8 wide in the rear you going to want to run a 5.5 backspacing, and +25 offset or more for that back wheel to tuck underneath, unless you run the 7 wide then you can just get +25 and only 4.5 backsapce

I have to agree with SD YOTA here. But factory size wheels are 14x5 et 0. Running a different tire, & wheel size can throw off the speed gauge, just fyi! If you want to be tucking I recommend personally a +35 offset on any wheels choice, but not larger than a 8'' width on the wheel..

^ *tire* size will affect the speedometer.
