    my 89 was straight piped when i got it. sound like crap and was stupid loud. i put a thrush turbo on it that cost $27 and now it sounds decent.

    Mine was straight pipe, I made it side exit right before the leaf spring. Was way to loud, even when cruising speed is super loud and gets kind of iritating. All though it wass really fun reving out everyone, no one was able to out rev me. Not even those silly hondas! Haha

    Lol..i did it for $50u but then went w dynomax much more deep and i love it..

    i did the same. mine sounds aggressive, but not too loud.gained 10hp too! thumbs up.

    i also cut mine back and put a thrush turbo JUST after the cat, the whole exhaust is hidden under the bed and echo's like crazy driving under the airport.

    Every time I hear a fart cannon exhaust, I think of a bone stock, slammed and primered Honda with racing decals on the windows and a roll cage.

    Unless you have a crazy modified motor, I see no point in having a loud exhaust. The last thing you want to do is blend in with all the annoying Honda wanna-be Ricky Racers.

    chelu, i did it to my 4x4, it was awesome!!!! -for like the first 10 min, then it just got annoying. lol
    i have a you tube video ill try to post it later. or try look up "straight pipe awesomeness" on youtube. i think thats the name of the video.
