I installed some 6000K HID's with hi beams today. Looking forward to trying them out tonight.

35 or 50 watt? If 35 watt they're going to be ricer extraordinare and seriously suck in the rain. 55 watt washes most of the blue out and makes them decent.

55watt I learned my lesson with cheap HID's in the past. You def get what you pay for. I went back and forth for a while if I was even going to install HID's this time. I actually bought them at a local high end shop and had them installed professionally with warranty. If i have any problems with them they can deal with it. It killed me to pay the premium price, but Its better than waiting for replacement parts online. The ballasts and bulbs would constantly go out or flicker with the cheap sets I have bought on ebay and installed in the past. 6000k is more white than blue.

I ran 6k 55 watt in my truck and lost a ballast. I didn't get too excited about it since the ballasts were zip tied on one end and bouncing around against the core support while getting g sprayed by my lack of inner fender wells.

The 35 watt 5k in my wife's rig have been rock solid since they're installed better and protected from the elements. The color of them was the same.

My next hid's will be 55 watt 4300k so they'll be as white as possible. Not going to waste my time until I have projectors to put them in.

As much as I hate to do it. She may be up for sale. I am testing the waters now. She runs great and looks great. Having some financial issues and the easiest way to fix them is to sell my garage queen that i haven't been driving.

I seriously hope you don't have to sell your mini. It would really sadden me to see it leave the community man. Hopefully all goes well and you can keep it.

    If I can't get what I think it's worth I won't sell it. I'd rather keep it.

Still for sale a lot of offers for trades...and a few cash offers not what I'm looking for though. Everytime i take it out somebody is interested in it. It doesn't leave my garage much though.

Man, my choices from my dad was either my 86 pickup or a 85 corrolla, both needed at clutch. Went with the truck and have never regretted it. I learned to drive stick in my truck and have taught lots of friends how to drive manual with it. I miss driving a manual everyday. Luckly the wife's camaro is manual and she didnt want a auto. Wish Toyota made a manual tundra!
