So one of my calipers has developed a leak to where its making a small little puddle about the size of a half dollar every morning. Just wanted to get some opinions on what you all have done? Is it worth the time to rebuild these calipers or should I just buy some new ones? Cons and Pros for each?? TIA!!:waytogo:

If your mechanical abilities are proficient and you have the right tools you save a ton of money overhauling your old calipers vs. buying reman assy's from the parts store. I'm planning to overhaul the entire brake system on my 90 xtracab 2wd soon as the master cylinder is on its last legs. I've priced all of the parts to overhaul entire system front & back and it will run me around $275.00. I'm going to go through the whole system since the truck is 22 years old.

    Good luck
