My passenger seat (60/40 bench) rattles when going over bumps. it's solid when you push on it but it still makes noise, whill rocking side to side. any one have this problem, and better yet know how to fix it? the mounts are tight, so I am at a loss.

The sliders may have came loose from the seat?

I don't think so. when I pull on the seat from the side, there's no free play. it's pretty solid. but when going over rough roads, the head rest will move left to right about a half an inch. wouldn't care if it weren't so damn annoying...

    Hmmm !

Thats kinda weird ! Usually / Occasionally when I hear a strange noise buggN the heck outta me, I just turn up the stereo volume to drown it out. But, usually its the stereo volume that makes other things rattle ( I mean how many things can a person Dynamat ?! ) :D Are ya sure its the seat , maybe the seat belts thru the seat, plastic to metal contact anywhere on seat or is it metal to metal ?

did you check the connecting wire from the one side to the other that links the forward backward slide lever...

Bet if you pull it and check underneath the connecting wire/link is loose

I am pretty embarrassed to say what I found. it was the seat belt being rattled against the side of the truck, by the seat moving side to side. holding on to the seat kept it from bouncing the buckle into the plastic.

    noise . . .

I second that & add . . . I put sound dampening sealer over the entire floorboard, sides, back of cab, roof of cab & added extreme dynamat to all of it, was a major pain in a few spots, but With all the windows closed and stereo off, its like riding in a brand new car. . . Oh, and I used a tote for the jack & tool kit . . . the only noise I do hear ( without the stereo ) is the bench seat springs & occasionally the speedometer cable behind the dash ! ! !
