Well I've been chasing an electrical problem with my power windows for a week or two now.
I had tried to by pass the window control relay ,has timers in it & I had a bad female connector.
That route wasn't good, so took the master switch & relay to a guy who builds Toyota 4x4 & has a dismantling yard, so could test in another truck. Got a new switch & female connector ,still windows won't work. Power straight to motors shows them good. And all wires continuity from end to end, good, no continuity from wires to ground except white/black wires which are ground!!!!
Can't for the life of me find the problem. Will head back down to the yard today & get another relay, even though he said mine is good!!!
Sorry for the long story here, just needed to shout this out. Maybe someone else has seen this !!
And if any one finds a 87-88 master window switch, grab it,there are inpossible to find, this style only on those two years!!!

I take it your truck came with them,& not added!
Sounds like a broken wire or bad connection @ the pin connectors!
You have to isolate the group of wires while moving them around, tape a section to the door or have some one help you! Check @ where there go through the door!
Use a volt meter @ one end so you can see when the voltage drops!!
