Sup guys. I have a few small holes in the top of the tank where the bed drains onto the tank. I have repaired a couple of other tanks before with some jb weld and gas tank repair sh!t from Napa but nothing seems to hold for very long.Any body out there have any ideas on a more permanent repair?
That would be the obvious solution but that's not what I was asking. This is a very common problem on Guam because we are surrounded by ocean and salt spray. So finding a cherry replacement tank is almost impossible.I am looking for a fix on the tank I have Thanks.
ive helped others patch em up before, we just welded it up or if the piece was that bad cut out and made a donor piece. of course your gonna have to drop the tank empty it out, clean it out, and we let it set in the backyard for a day or two to let everything dry and evaporate out of it. but thats always worked for us
