Lowering a 1975 Hilix help

    Yes the rear is lower.... but not by much. That photo makes it look worse.

    Would probs cut another 1/4 off, but not high priority, really CBF, too much rooting around haha.
    My brother and I like it as is so it will stay for now.

    it might look good from far, but it's far from good looking hahaha. Fair bit off rust in it, heaps off parts/components worn out (we have to replace all the gear linkages next :/) It is still registered (can drive it to workshop, or to servo for fuel...), but really it would be classified as unroadworthy.

    Here is my '73 with 3 coils cut out up front, 4 inch tapered blocks out back, on stock 14 inch wheels and, 195/75/14 tires...

    Here she is with same suspension, 15x7 wheels, 0 offset, and 205/65/15 tires

    3 coils cut
    No bump stops
    3" blocks
    Middle leaf pulled
    No shocks (yet)
    14x7 ~3.5 backspace
    175/70/14

    And a butt shot, since this ive added a 1" block from Beefed. Brought the back down enough to sit on the tire

    according to rockauto, the mightymax and d50 both use moog 2278 springs, so they should be the same.

    Well, I was just going on info I was given, maybe they use the same replacements but stock is different, I don't know.
