Changed all my lights, stop & turn signal & now they won't flash. I think it's a flasher problem ,any body on through this & what need to use to make work???

There's the flasher relay on the fuse panel in the cab(kick panel).Did you change out the housings only or did you have to splice wires? Whats the turn light on the dash doing?Just giving a constant arrow?

The resistance of the leds is different for the circuits. You need a different flasher. I had same problem, never got around to getting one.

I have led turn signals also but didn't have to change the flasher. If you didn't have to splice plug in your old ones to check if you blew something or see if they work normally.

Underconstruction93 is right! Had that issue on my motorcycle. Regular filament bulbs have higher resistance. The resistance causes your flasher to heat up and temporarily interrupt the circuit to cool off. Hence the flash! LEDs run cool and have lower resistance . You can buy an aftermarket flasher or solder in the appropriate resistor for each bulb lead.

Some aftermarket led bulbs have a integrated resistor. So that could be the cause of the sporadic "never had an issue with mine" reports.

Yeah here's what I did.The outer set of LEDs I used for my turn signals. The headlight came with the main plug for the head light and a set of + and - wires for each of the rows of outer lights.I cut and spliced in the wires of my old turn lights and directed them straight into the outer row lights.I also wired my corner lights into the inner row of lights which you see in the pic.[IMG]Just blacked out the turn lens

If I used both sides of these outer lights as my parking light I probably could roll with just them as headlights.Thats how bright they are.

Most likely it is the flasher, you need a "No Load" type but you might have to add resistors (they sell them on Ebay) also. Look at your flasher plug connection then go to a WEB site that sells LED lights and check their listing for various flashers. Your problem is very common when changing over to LED light bulbs.

I should add ,they not flashing fast, just not at all!!
And I did the same ,just cut the wires & tied into them, soldered connections with shrink tube over them.
I do think it's the flasher so will have to check into getting a different one!

LED lights are polarity sensitive. Remove all of your turn signal lights except one, try your signal and if the light does not flash rotate the bulb 180 degrees then try again. If the light flashes do the same procedure with each of the remaining lights. If the light does not flash try puting 12 volts directly to it to see if it works. If the light comes on with the temporary 12 volt jumper then your problem is in the flasher but even with a new flasher you might have to install resistors in the line. Also, if you changed the turn signal indicating bulbs in your dash to LED units, remove them then check to see if the + and - wires on the bulbs stop on one side of the housing if the bulb wires wrap around both sides of the housing cut one side short on each bulb wire so the bulb wires no longer wraps around. This is not the case for most small LED bulbs but some of the cheap ones are made that way and they will cause you problems.

The polarity is correct, the problem I'm sure is the flasher relay, every thing I've read leads toward you have to use a LED ,no load flasher(relay), of which I now have & will install tomorrow!
The LED's @ the rear & new LED strips in the front turn light housings are what is affected, will post if this solves the problem!!

This & the LED strips ( eye brows) that I inserted into the front bumper /running lights & on with lights on ( HID's) is part of my winter project!

Once all is good photo's will follow!!

Adding resistors would be a real plain ,as from what I've read they go between the wires @ ea . bulb, & with Supra lights @ the rear that's a lot of soldering than sealing the wires!!
Easier fix is just to have the right flasher will see tomorrow.
Today it's off the the Sacramento Auto Rama, & see a lot of very cool cars & trucks,& shot a lot of photo's!!

Well I got all working ,reinstalled the inconstant bulbs @ the rear turn lights ( think the new flasher will work) as found two front leads making contact. So will retest with the new flash in a day or so!
Here's what all I've done the window /lock back lite switches, LED bulbs @ the front running lights & LED strip lights @ the front turn lights, LED strip eye bows laid into the bumper & the HID head lights that were there!

The show photo link will go up once SSM approves the up load!

The resistance of the leds is different for the circuits. You need a different flasher. I had same problem, never got around to getting one.
