Ok guys I have my 1986 single cab. I'm having problems with my headlights. As I was driving they both just flickered n shut off. Bulbs are fine. My column is fine. BUT I checked my relay. Fine. Wen I jump my wires from the big terminals on the relay my headlights turn on. I can't find a bad ground or a bad power wire. I checked some sites and they had the same problem. No solution given. Lmk what you think. Thanks gang

I would first go with bad ground. Is it just the headlights or the dash light to?

Just headlights .turn signals work.fuses good. Grounds are good for the ones I found while following the wiring harness. Put a dmm to them and they're good.

Both low and high are out? Will high work if you pull the handle back? If so its the switch in the column. Pull it apart and clean all the contacts.

Agree! My highs would work intermittently, so remove the switch (easy to do) and opened it up (easy to do as had screws), then cleaned the contacts. I also slightly bent the high beam top contact down a tad to make better contact. Works like new. A 30 minute easy to do job.
