What head unit should I get next if I were to replace mine? I have a somewhat newer Jensen with the removable face. The screen's cracked on it and it's hard to see the time on it during the day. Any ideas? Need to be affordable though, not a whole lot of money with my name on it.
How affordable? I recommend Alpine. I have Alpine in my truck & the wife's car, '06 models & no problems. You can a nice Alpine for $250 or less & still be able to control an iPod. http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/
Around or below that price. As long as I can hook up my SanDisk e280, I'm good. Doesn't have to be a frontal hookup either. My Jensen was made for AV systems too, so I have red & white RCA hookups on back, that's how I've been running mine.
2 of the Alpine's have an aux input via a 3.5mm (headphone) jack on the front. 1 or more have an aux input, probably RCA's, in the back.
