im thinking it might be my fan clutch stuck but i just want to get more info on it.
when i drive it sounds as if i have a super fan reving the same as the truck is. this just started 2 days ago. i thought it might be because i had the ac on but it doesnt matter if the ac is on or not. any ideas would be great!!

been thinking about this fan clutch thing. is there a possibility it could be the temp sensor? or maybe a bad thermostat? i just dont want to spend 65 bucks if it isnt what i think it is...

try and spin it by hand when the truck is cold (truck off), it should spin freely with a little bit of resistance you will feel it. If its locked then yes its bad

Looked at the fan clutch today before work, and it's not good... The bearing in the fan clutch exploded and the bearing seals wedged themselves between the shaft and the fan clutch. Going to get a new one tomorrow and replace it. Hope nothing else is messed up...
