Double roller Timing chain??????

    If I put a double roller timing chain on my 77 Toyota pickup.Do I have to have a different timing chain cover?My Toyota jumped time I would like to go with a double roller chain.So do I have to have a double roller timing chain cover to use the bouble roller chain?Somebody give me some help on this please??

    1988 standard cab, long bed
    If your truck has the stock 20R then it already has a double row timing chain. All 20R have double row timing chains.

    yup!
    single rows came in the later 82-83-84 years in the 22R along with the dreaded plastic guides in order to save cost-this, along with FelPro gasket use in the 3.0's are some of the worst decisions Toyota has made in order to save money or to be more welcome into US markets...
