YES! this mod is great, i run it myself. i really liked the look of the daytime running lights, but wanted a yellow turn signal. i installed really bright switchback LEDs in a 3 wire setup using 1157 sockets, and it works great.
    nice work!

Why is it that your turn signals don't alternate from the white to amber when your light switch and hazards are both on?

Because the amber and white leds are on separate circuits. Power to the white led is cut during the flashing operation. The switchback leds are pricey but are great. I did the same thing to my MK3 supra a couple months ago.

Yea exactly what he said. I love switch back LEDs. It's what newer cars r coming with. They sale cheaper switch backs that flash Amber white Amber. Instead of the pricier ones I got that flash Amber off Amber off white

Good to know, I've always seen switch backs alternate colors instead of cutting off, it looks good, nice setup.

Thanks man. Not a big upgrade but I'm happy with it. Worst part was waiting on the clear 3 wire lights from Thailand. Took forever to get here.

Hey guys I did something similar to that, I swapped the wires from the top corner lights to the buttom turn signal lights cause I wanted to use them as a fog light or close to a fog it's not as bright as a fog light but it's great.
