    MY FIRST VERY OWN ENGINE SWAP IN MY LIFE SO FAR SO GOOD ann had to haul in my mini lol toy hauling a toy turbo

    nice set up, only bad thing with them 7m's was sh tty headgasket.

    its the best i could do without having to pay anyone anything hahah it did the job nd saving 700+dls

    I heard the problem wasn't the gasget but the specs for the torq was wrong. So if ya didn't get the right torq specs you were constantly doing gasgets...

    Why the guy get rid of it? Just a headgasket, or a grenaded bottom end too?

    the guy i bought it from said he had a mk3 come in for a 1jz becaise he wasnt happy with the way this engin ran and he said it had a problem with the valves the way they were set up so he fixed it and did a leak down test and said it was ready to goo and wanted it out of his shop

    ok so i no its been awhile since i posted this thread but here we are today haha so we haddent done much to the car due to bad clutch and shims so once my buddy had the money to get everythin we began again today so today we got the act stage 2 clutch on it was such a pain but we did it and tomarro hopefully get it in the car and install it along with the tokico shocks and have on baddass ride for him
