Just thinking out loud, I know guys use ball joint spacers on 4WD's to lift the front end. I've read where most of these are 1.5" thick. Could a person just flip them like a BJ flip and put them on top of the UCA instead of underneath thus moving the spindle up and giving more drop with less UCA movement ? I guess the bigger question would be How Safe would it be ?

Jmo, seems kind of dangerous. Might also allow the lower control arm to hit the wheel depending on wheel size.

I think some guys have added about .75" of shims for a total 1" drop. I wouldnt do it but to each their own

I wish I would have kept my old ball joints when I replaced them. Could have cut the actual joint off and the remaining plate would have made a great spacer. Just add the proper length and strength bolts.
