what advice can u give me on getting some performance parts for my 1982
    22R?

i was thinking cams, valve springs, new carbs (webr 40mm), and new intake manifold, headers and exhaust.

i want more low end torq. with high end hp.

any suggestions on what type of cams and headers and parts ect... i should look into?

oh and any advice on how to get my lil yota faster would be cool.
all motor no chargers or turbos
    thanks team.:clapping:

sounds like you got the right mix there.

but remember, these arnt high horsepower motor, or high revving either. redline is 5500 and the stock power band is from 2500-4000

spending comfertably (less then $2k)and doing the work yourself, you could see 170hp/200+ ftlbs easy, with no boost. prolly be able to see power at 4-5k but it wouldnt be that much of a gain, better off shooting for low end pulling power.

as far as parts go, call this guy for motor stuff, tell him how much money you got, and how fast you would like to go.

find a authorized weber retailer like www.carburetion.com
and i would go a single 45 or dual 40's but remember dual carbs have a REAL steep learning curve for tuning, and can be a major pita for a newb.
