I just purchased a blue, 81 standard-cab short-bed from former TM user Boone81mini here in Austin, TX.

Super excited to finally land my first mini-truck project and hoping to learn as much as possible here as I can.

Current Mods:
Engine - has engnbldr full rebuild kit .020'' over, oversized valves, port and polish (by Boone) RV cam, adjustable timing chain pully (dual row of course) a 38/38 weber, full de-smog, a 2.5'' stainless exhaust w/ no cat and a summit turbo muffler (TIGed by Boone with piecuts) the block and head were machined by a one man shop down the street.

Wheels - Jeep 15" mesh rims

Drivetrain - welded rear diff

Planned mods - Lower it back down again (Boone lifted it before selling) with Enkei 92 gold rims
Add power steering
Interior update/restore
new front fascia/headlights
And eventually looking to swap in a 1UZ
