I can't remove the 80 amp fuse in my '86 SR5 Truck.. I know it can't be pulled out like the other fuses so I removed the battery, unscrewed the fuse box and I can't get the fuse to release and slip out from underneath..

I saw this post on how to do it on a Corolla and figured the fuse would unlock the same way.. I just don't see any latches on both sides and I don't want to break anything.. Thanks guys!

Does it have screws? Toyota liked to screw in the big fuses on Cressida's and the like.

I haven't looked in the truck personally but it's a safe assumption.

If so, they are on the bottom of the prongs of the fuse and are sometimes tricky to get too.

I can't remember exactly but once you flip that fuse box over you unbolt like a 10mm and it slides out.Something like that. You are on the right track.
