78 Hilux rotor bolt.

    I have installed the bolt last night and set the timing a little bit by hand its not perfect but better then before the bolt fell out. As far as the bolt issue, the threads were just fine I used a long enough bolt with a lock washer, worked like a charm.

    This is what it sounds like so far. This sat I'm going to reset the timing with a gun and adjust the carb a little. It sounds like it runs a little rich. What do you guys think?

    Those Asian carbs are a bitch to balance out.
    I still have problems on really hot days with the mix being too rich when restarting after shutdown.
    Remember to leave all hoses attached when setting rpm. (including vacuum advance).
