    HI.
I have been rebuilding my 92 toy for about 5-6 years now. It has been a 1 step forward 20 back process which I am sure most, if not all of you can relate.
I just bought a 2010 taco prerunner to tow the special one around.

I came across this site because I destroyed my front end last weekend and was researching front end swaps. I liked what I saw and was reading, so I wanted to join ya. I am also a member of www.floridatruckscene.com. I am not plugging their site. I'm just adding that because there are good people on the site and are pretty informative.

this is what it looked like when I got it back form the air ride shop. I still have chrome wheel on passenger side and blk on driver side. I took the topper off for a few reasons.

ya fun, I was in the process of painting the base color when this happened, so now I am looking to put a 4runner front end on it because I can't find a 4x4 chrome valance to save my life. I know there are a couple posts about that process so I will look around some more before asking redundant question.

I do all the airbrush and painting my self. I had another shop chop the bed, engine compartment, frame and install the air ride. I cut the diamond plate and tribal accents in the bed. A buddy of mine help me do the interior and stereo action.
    thanks

I gots no truck, for now
did you take the topper off so you wouldnt have to compete in closed bed mini?
welcome to the site. were you redoing your setup? im confused. looks like a finished truck in one pic, then a complete project in others..

a lot of people do the 4 runner bumper, headlights and grill and shave the corners..makes the front end look wider...

In the "finished" pics the truck is coated in primer. The other pics is what it looked like after the air ride install. The last pics is the most recent accident.

I took the topper off because it is a too heavy, don't want to paint it anymore, people cant see inside the bed very well, and to get to the batteries and to clean everything sucks with the topper on.
