    is one needed for my 92 im sorry for asking so many questions this is my first mini and i just want to do it right my truck is my baby and i dont like it off the road if you know what i mean oh and can you layout on 18s with an 8 inch notch?

    Yes, tranny crossmember is needed. And yes, I have an 8" notch and lay out on 18's.
