does anybod have a good speed sensor they wouldn't mind getting rid of? I got a used w58 transmission but it didn't come with the sensor. Please let me know if you have one. Thanks
Electric or mechanical? If it's mechanical you might be able to use your truck sensor if you change out the gear for whatever came out of your w58. Then you can get a dialed in adjuster to compensate for your actual speed. That's what I did. If it's electric you gotta find digital options for speed accuracy.
It's digital so I was hoping to find a w58 sensor to drop in. I'm not sure if the w56 sensor is the same of not but whatever I can at least start up with for now
if your original was digital then your speedo is digital and if you want to swap to mechanical you need a speedo cable and a mechanical speedo
The original was digital, but it was for the 22re automatic. I'm doing a 1uzfe swap with a w58 swap that's why I need a w58 digital sensor. Found one on the Lexus forums late last night tho!
