WTB:R154 transmission and Ford 8.8

    If your rear is currently the toyota 8" I don't see the need to swap it for the ford... It's stout enough to handle the power, lots of gear selections, lockers, spools, bascially the aftermarket support is there...

    Maybe a four link setup will help put the power to the ground and you can tuck a 10" rim on your body style...

    Oh yea, check Burnzya for the R154, i remember him saying he can snag them for like 80 bucks or so...

    80 bucks! wow is he a member on here? I would like to keep this rear end but I need posi and disc brakes. its way cheaper to swap out stock for stock then to modify mine. And I dont want spool, its a dd.
