My heater control broke. I need the part that works like a pivot. It is white in color, made of plastic. I tried to buy at Toyota not available. Any leads or information is needed. Thank you. Marty

 

Ebay. My 1988's heater controls fell apart (that little white piece) as well. I bought a used heater control frame/cables from ebay. Dismantlers like to post the stuff they take off of cars. If you go ebay, be careful and study the pictures carefully. They don't really know what years the parts fit and will include a wider range of years and models than is true; for instance a lot of ads say the same part fits Fourunners but the heater panel is slightly different between the pickups and the fourunners . I haven't installed it yet. I can see it needs to lubed occasionally. The price was about $50, IIRC...

I also bought a NOS control panel from ebay.
