Yeah guys and girls I had a 78 lwb when I was 14 it had the 4spd in it. After it exploded my dad put a 5spd out of an old 76 or so Celica GT. After that the truck was freekin fast for what it was. I now have a 86 2wd XCab and would love to find another Celica Trans for it. So let me know what you have. Thanks

 

I work at an auto salvage yard so i looked it up for you there's a guy in elizabethtown,ky that is showing he has a 5spd out of a 1980 celica it's the same as a 76

I know a guy local here that has a fully restored 76 I think celica with nice draglites interior all redone body straight and has original paint still they buffed it out and brought the color back its the stock mustard yellow color or a off white..thing is beautiful, love that model looks like a older mustang...pm me or email me and ill send you some pictures, beware now that price asking up for you two to decide, 80,000 original miles on whole car top to bottom [email protected]
