Looking for a Hilux daily driver. It has to be reliable enough to go on long trips(600+ miles and over a mountain pass with stuff in the back) has to be capable of sustained freeway speeds, rust free and manual trans. Would love to get one like Toydatto's. Basically I would like a '78 or earlier and am having a hard time finding a good one every time I do it sells before I can get to it. Needs to be either in Oregon(where my house is) or someone willing to bring it to Salinas, CA where I currently work but have no personal transportation.
