Yep. I made some half doors for my '94 when I had it out of 4runner doors.

No they will not fit. The truck's door has a rounded edge on the top corner while the 4Runner has a square edge. MacRib has confirmed this as he has the same set of doors.

This looks pretty square to me...?

I'm pretty sure we mounted it up to make sure it fit before we cut it, but maybe not?

Thanks for the help guys. I am looking into this a little further and I will post up the results. I think that it may be possible to trim a radius on the top of the door (btw, that pic does look pretty square... weird). I think I might know where to get my hands on a 4 Runner door locally in which case I think it would be easier to trim the radius and weld it up/grind/sand it out than it would be to do all the bondo work on my current driver side door. I did do more dent pulling on my current door and it is getting pretty close to the right shape, but it will still take a lot of patient sanding work to really make it look right. Trimming a radius on the corner seems like a piece of cake. It seems like the inner part of the door where it seals should be fine.

yea.....4Runner doors and truck doors for the 89-94 models were not the same. there is a big difference in the rear corners of the doors. also i believe the doors may be slightly longer on the truck models by 1-2 inches.

also..... around these parts, if you can find a real cherry looking door for under 100 bucks, thats a good deal on average. 75 is an even better deal and 50 is a steal!

I know for a fact the doors are the same length. If there is any difference it is in the upper window frame. From the bottom of the window frame down a 4runner door fits. My truck was an xtra cab, though. Maybe the regular cabs are different?

Yeah the difference in the doors are the outer corners of the doors. The 4runners are squared off at the ends as they meet up with the back doors. The pickup doors (Xtracab included) are rounded at the corners for a smoother transition to the body.

So how about modifying the door shellto a radius? Is that the only difference? A one inch radius on the outer part of the window frame? If so I am thinking that wouldn't be too difficult to modify.

$100 is about average for a door around here too. $50 is a steal for sure.
