I need to purchase a new rubber/gasket for my 82 Toyota Pickup.

I found this one on ebay that I'm considering, do you think it would be a good buy? I reside in New Zealand so I will have to get it shipped over as they are expensive to source locally.

Also I paid a visit to a local glass shop and they said they could make one to fit, which would be a better fit, custom? Or OEM?

I'd say it is a good buy even with shipping cost!

Over here the door seals for my 88 are $80 ea.!

And the front windshield ,is 8 pieces of stainless, totaling around $380.

I suggest that you go ahead and purchase this item. I've done business with this seller and this item is getting harder to find OEM. Now, this weatherstrip also has the "groove" for the plastic mouldings inserts. If you wish to also add these, then they are still available from Toyota.

Well I went ahead and purchased the above item mentioned from the USA, it arrived today and I am very pleased with my purchase

I hope you purchased that, if not then why are you waiting you should buy it imediately because its a good deal.. As one other member explained it costs near about 400 bucks. Good Luck
