I have a set of Drag DR-31 wheels. (17"x9", +28 offset) and I plan on buying 225/50r17 tires for these wheels, I do notice the wheels slightly rub on one of the bolts in the front so I'll pick up a 5/16" wheel spacer. Aside from test fitting the rims w/o tires on to check for any clearance issue, do you guys think I'll have any issues with the tires on when it comes to rubbing?

I have a 92 toyota p/u that's pretty much stock except for the 90 4runner fenders. (stock height)

stock ride height i doubt you'll have too many issues at all. you may rub the inner strut rod if your steering stops are not adjusted properly... but thats about it. the rear you might not clear the bottom u-bolt plate so keep an eye on that...

i will suggest if you want to go lower in the future (2"+) to go with a slightly lower profile tire so you dont run into too many rubbing issues..
