Ok, guy I know has a set of rims that are 5x115.They were on a 2006 magnum. Mine are 5x114.3. I asked a guy at the rim shop, he said that it will work. And a lot of the mopar guys run 5x114.3 on there newer cars no prob. My question to you is, do you think that would be ok to run? I'm going to have him bring one to work so i can check the backspace and clearance, but they look like they will be fine. There 18's and perfect. have almost new very nice tires on them. He wants $400.
Thats a tough call. I know its a very close measurment (way to go and be odd Dodge....) but i can imagine that when you torque the wheel down that the nuts will try and center the rim... which will stress it.... even if only a little bit. Ibe be worried about the aluminum cracking... Or you could drive with them for the rest of your life with no problems. Who knows!
I hear ya man. I know the s10 and bmw rims are hella close as well, and the guys on s-10 forums run those no prob. I'm thinking as long as i don't torque the hell out of them, should be fine. What about having the holes machined out slightly? Ill take a picture of the truck with one on to get an opinion. BTW there the 5 spoke stock magnum rims.with low profile tires on them. would be nice if these friggin fit....lol
Looks like they should fit.... I think as long as you use the right lugnuts it should work... *Not mine... Truck is for sale:
Tire size choice will be your challenge.... I cleared the 17X8 Mustang bullit wheels up front using 215/45-17 tires with a 3-1/2 inch drop. No rubbing issues making turns or speed bumps... The rears were 235/45-17 and just barely cleared the inner lip on the bed fender... It rubbed when I had a heavy load and that is with 3" drop blocks... Hope this helps...
