Not to long ago I got my truck done....Bagged and body dropped 3 inches on 18 inch wheels. Comming home from carlisle I hit some massive bump in the road and it put some bubbles in my sidewall. Im going to the low rollers show this saturday so I put my niche f16 wheels on it. They are 19's. I had to cut a bunch of stuff so the tires didnt rub. So I get it all done last night and took it to a flat parking spot and its being held up half inch...My bags are fully compressed not allowing the truck to drop anymore.....My question for you guys is...Will flipping my balljoints drop my truck the extra half inch or so I need to lay body? It layed body hard before with the 18's on it. Heres some pics..

Yeah there hot right?? They are niche f16s. I guess ill try the balljoint flip. Im justworried i wont get enough lift to make sharp turns if i do it. Also...you say u got inch and a half...did you use the washers to space it up?

I don't think you can flip the lower balljoint with those bolt in lower bag mounts. They sit where the balljoint will need to be.

I'd suggest removing the lower bag mount and plating the arm. Then you just drill a hole and bolt the bag straight to the arm :)

3in bodydrop should lay frame on 20" so there is something else going on there. Yeah burnzya is right about the lower you'd have to plate and bag. OR save up and get some Can Do's they are spendy but WELL worth it. Hope you get this figured out Id say if you lived in Idaho Id come help you out.

Probably why my bros ranger could pull the rims off the ground when we did his notch and bridge we measured for 20's but he had 17's. Makes sense

Nice truck. I say try it and see what happens. If it doesnt work just switch it back. Its doesnt take long to do. But good luck man.

The extra height from the wheels probly made ther difference and u bagged it on 18s and didnt compensate for bigger wheels

if you bagged it on a 25"tire, and it laid frame, and then you put 26"tires back on, it'll be an inch off the ground. in a perfect world lol

Edit: dammit i meant to say half inch!

    back to Litneon's post ;)

Unless the body was resting on top of the tire, the frame would be 1/2" off of the ground. Half of the height difference is above the spindle.;)

winar....the center of the spindle down is the part you are worried about with making it lay...

but the point is to get this bitch laid out, either put a smaller profile tire on, move the upper bag mounts, or remove the spacer for the lower mount but double check that the bag doesnt rub the control arm when you do that...

    good luck!
