Why is this Discussion category “76 to 83”?

    (I would have thought that ‘76 ‘77 & ‘78 would have been grouped with the earlier Hilux trucks. What am I not understanding here?)

    It's confused me since I started here, especially with having a 1975 that apparently isn't part of any of the categories :verdict_in:

    I think 1979-1983 would be the appropriate age range of the 4th generation trucks, no? Maybe they were grouped together if there was some discrepancy inbetween the 1975s and lower and 1979/1980s-1983? Dunno. o_O

    This was discussed a long time ago. There is too much content in that section of the forum now to sift thru and split them up.

    Maybe the thought process was pre/post smog exemption? Only site Admin knows at this point
