Hey there need some help desperately, trying to diagnos a engine issue where when accelerate I get a loud ticking/ whistling sound at the front of the cab almost like marbles in a tin. Also notice it sounds worse when taking off with the clutch then accelerating , is this a worn clutch or accelerater cable doesn't sound right and would love to fix it ASAP. Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated

Have any lose of power ?
Clutch feel like its slipping ? I would pull the valve cover and check your valve springs and rocker arms
These motors tick buy nature but if it's a large tick might wanna check under the valve cover specially if you have a bad idle or lose of power

Well if clutch is slipping a bit might have some broken pressure plate springs rattling around and a worn disk not a major problem just maybe time for a new clutch and throwout bearing as far as checking your valve springs u wanna look closely at all your springs to see if u have broken one I've seen them break and still work but make some chatter u can turn the motor by hand with large deep socket on the crank pully and watch your valve train move .let us no of any news
Worn throttle cable ? Don't follow if its starting to split or crack pick a new one from junk yard
